Explore Ijams Nature Center, a nonprofit nature center featuring access to 318+ acres of protected wildlife habitat and natural areas three miles from downtown Knoxville. The grounds are open daily from 8 AM-dark. Enjoy hiking, mountain biking, seasonal paddling and swimming at Mead’s Quarry Lake, climbing at the Ijams Crag, and so much more. The Visitor Center is open daily from 10 AM- 5PM and includes a gift shop, information desk, live animal exhibits and more. Parking is free for Ijams members. There is a $5 daily fee or you can purchase a yearly parking pass for $50. Ijams also offers myriad education programs and special events throughout the year. Become a member or donate today!
