Whether walking the trails or fishing the lakes, everyone is invited to connect with the sights and sounds of nature at Patuxent Research Refuge. There are two public areas. The South Tract at 10901 Scarlet Tanager Loop. Grounds are open daily sunrise to sunset, except grounds close at 4pm on Tuesdays. The North Tract at 230 Bald Eagle Drive. Grounds are currently open Sundays 8am to 4pm.
