2025 service resumes May 22 and runs through August 22. Summer shuttle for Anchorage visitors without rental cars who want to hike Flattop Mountain. $25 roundtrip. In a nutshell, this is a 30 mile low-key circuit tour of the Anchorage bowl and an unguided mountain hike above it for $25. No guide is needed on this popular, easy to follow trail. No deposit taken/cancel anytime. 15-person passenger van parts from Downtown Bicycle Rental at 12:15 and takes the slow scenic route through the university to the trailhead where it remains parked from 1 to 4 and you hike for 3 hours by yourself. Everyone meets back at the van at 4 which is when it departs and arrives back downtown at 4:30.
