W. W. Knight Nature Preserve

Description :

Open daily from 8:00 am until 30 minutes past sunset (≈ 8:30 in summer, 6:30 in autumn, 5:00 in winter, and 6:30 in spring). Entrance is free and open to all. The site features a pond, picnic shelters, a nature center, an event hall, 1.6 miles of fully accessible walking trails, a sensory garden, native plant prairie, family fishing, and a nature playscape where you can build forts. This 44-acre nature preserve was donated to the Wood County Park District by William Windus Knight and opened to the public in 2005. Accessible walking trails and boardwalk by the Country Garden Club of Perrysburg. A Commemorative Trail offers memory bricks sold by the Friends of the Parks.
