Econlockhatchee Sandhills Conservation Area

Description :

This conservation area protects almost 1.5 miles of the Econlockhatchee River and its associated floodplain and uplands. The property was purchased for conservation purposes to enhance the protection of the Econlockhatchee River and to add to a corridor of nearby conservation lands that includes Hall Scott Regional Preserve and Park, Seminole County’s Econlockhatchee Wilderness Area to the northwest, and Little Big Econ and Charles Bronson State Forests further north.
