Newbold Recreation Area Rookery Run

Description :

Town owned 18 hole disc golf course with hiking and snowshoeing trails. Former town dump was closed in late 1980s. Restored and disc golf course created in 2018 through generous donations and volunteers. Dogs allowed but must be leashed. Restroom available. Picnic tables and benches. No drinking water available. No glass containers allowed in park. Temporarily closed during spring thawing so not to damage the seeded grass. Opens when road restrictions lifted.
