Visit the U.S.'s only national park unit dedicated to the tallgrass prairie, owned by The Nature Conservancy and co-managed with the National Park Service. Open 24 hours a day, year-round. Camping, bicycles, ATVs and private vehicles are not allowed on the preserve. The visitor center is open 9:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. daily March through October, and is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays from November through February. Three preserve ponds are open to the public for catch and release fishing. Dogs on a leash are allowed with exceptions.
