Verkeerderkill Falls Trailhead

Description :

This trailhead, located within the Sam's Point Area of Minnewaska State Park Preserve is a 5.9 mile round trip hike from the Sam's Point Visitor Center, to Verkeerderkill Falls and back. This footpath travels through some rocky terrain, surrounded by the evidence of the 2016 Sam's Point Fire. The Ice Caves are closed for the season. They will reopen in late spring. Parking reservations are required weekends and holidays April 15 - November 15. Reservations can be made through Reserve America New York.
