Winding Creek Conservation Area

Description :

A 1.7 mile looped multipurpose hiking trail runs through restored prairie and woodland while a short .5 mile trail runs from the parking lot and around the pond. This site offers hiking trails and a pond for fishing. McHenry County Conservation District exists to preserve, restore and manage natural areas and open space for their intrinsic value and for the benefits to present and future generations.
